Being the key employer in India, LT Foods take an initiative to keep farmers updated about these advanced techniques of farming.
In some remote areas of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, women are not given proper education and they have to rely on opposite gender for almost everything. Thus, to empower these women, LT Foods has selected 9 villages and imparting training in different areas such as cloth cutting, designing, stitching and embroidery works. On one hand where some women are using these skills to earn livelihood, others are happy about receiving better marriage proposals due to their enhanced skill set.
Quality crops can be produced only when quality farm inputs such as seed and fertilizers are provided to the farmers. A large section of farming community is not economically stable to buy all these inputs and thus the company is lending a hand of help by offering the service of pre-financing without any interest. In the year 2010-11, company has pre-financed about Rs 2.5 million to organic farmers for the successful production of various cash crops.

LT Foods has adopted over 3000 tribal farming families in remote villages of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and provides them economic assistance for farming. These marginal farmers are provided crop production knowhow, improved seed varieties and market linkage.
